Ron Hirschi and Melinda West came out to help the Salmon Team learn about beaver dams. They even got to build a beaver dam themselves.
Artist Melinda West has learned a great deal from Native Peoples and from nature. She weaves beautiful baskets and teaches many classes on traditional weaving methods and how to prepare plants. This is her very first beaver dam, though.
